Geophysical survey under way at the Kolondieba Gold Project

Marvel Gold Limited has announced the commencement of a Gradient Array Induced Polarisation (GAIP) survey at the Kolondieba Gold Project in southeast Mali. The survey covers an area of 12km2 and aims to define chargeability and resistivity highs to identify gold-mineralised bedrock-hosted sulphides and silicification. The results of previous auger drilling at Kolondieba have shown significant gold mineralisation, with peak values of up to 2.35g/t gold. The findings of the survey will be used to plan deeper drilling work to further explore the potential of the project. Kolondieba is an important project for Marvel, located near the Tabakorole Gold Project, which currently has a mineral resource of one million ounces.
