Drilling confirms south-east extension to Tabakorole

Marvel Gold Limited (ASX: MVL) announced on 18 February 2021 that drilling at the Tabakorole Gold Project in Mali has confirmed an extension to the southeast. Hole 21TBKRC-001 intersected 23m at 2.0 g/t gold, extending the known deposit by 150m. Other significant intercepts include 24m at 1.2 g/t gold and 25m at 0.8 g/t gold from previous drilling. An aircore drilling program targeting the NW-SE trending structure is set to begin soon. With 31 drill holes still pending results, Managing Director Phil Hoskins expressed excitement about the potential upgrade to the 910,000oz Mineral Resource. The company plans further diamond and aircore drilling to expand the resource further.
