Drilling commences at Lakanfla Gold Project

Australian gold explorer Marvel Gold Ltd (ASX: MVL) has begun drilling at its Lakanfla Gold Project in western Mali. The drill program is expected to comprise approximately 3,800 meters and aims to prove the existence of a karst and identify potentially mineralized areas of gravity lows. The project is located near the Sadiola gold mine, and any discovery would be economically significant for Marvel shareholders. The company plans to use reverse circulation drilling and expects first results from the program towards the end of November and into December. Marvel Gold has extensive landholdings in South Mali and West Mali.
